Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces using React JS.
- Integrate and optimize MongoDB data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain web applications and APIs across the frontend and backend.
- Implement unit testing for backend and frontend components using frameworks such as PyTest and Jest.
- Use AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch for deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot cloud-environment issues.
- Participate in Agile planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog grooming, estimation, and sprint execution.
- Conduct code reviews and follow coding, documentation, and security standards.
- Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, product quality, and team productivity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Internet of Things (IoT) Platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including AWS Lambda and API development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
- Advanced React JS frontend development skills.
- Experience with MongoDB and data modeling for web applications.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest and Jest.
- Understanding of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted coding tools.
- Ability to write secure, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- 15 years of full-time education.
