Responsibilities
- Interface with technical personnel and stakeholders to finalize requirements.
- Write and review specifications for moderately complex system components.
- Translate product requirements into software designs and implement software components.
- Apply coding best practices, code reviews, testing, and development processes.
- Work in Agile, Waterfall, distributed, and co-located development environments.
- Use GitHub workflows, pull requests, issue tracking, and team collaboration practices.
- Resolve technical issues and complete bug fixes.
- Keep current with new technology developments and evaluate AI-assisted development workflows.
Requirements
- Proficiency with data manipulation languages, data modeling principles, complex data models, and data storage subsystems.
- Proficiency with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, Node.js, React, XML, SQL, Windows, and UNIX.
- Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, or another identity provider, including realm configuration, authentication flows, and OIDC client setup.
- Knowledge of code coverage, test-driven development, and software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Ability to write and review detailed specifications, implement moderately complex components, and complete bug fixes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external technology resources.
- Preferred experience with Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Codex for test authoring, stub generation, coverage analysis, or test-output investigation.
- Preferred experience with Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool, Docker, and Kubernetes.
