Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using the .NET platform.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs for cloud-based email and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Modernize existing applications and migrate them toward modern architectures.
- Collaborate with product management, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews and improve development standards and engineering practices.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, development frameworks, and AI-assisted software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
- Experience building backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, MVC, and SQL Server.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 APIs, distributed systems, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, messaging or streaming technologies, email protocols, and monitoring and observability tools.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar solutions is preferred.
