Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable, secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a Java codebase.
- Take new ideas from initial prototype through production-grade implementation.
- Partner with product managers, SREs, data scientists, and engineering teams across Google Calendar and Google Workspace, including Gmail, Chat, and Meet.
- Advocate for engineering excellence and ensure infrastructure is resilient, performant, and safe.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least one year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred experience with Java, C++, and Python, as well as software development.
