Responsibilities

  • Own the React and TypeScript frontend architecture for a new unified dashboard platform.
  • Define component architecture, state management, API consumption patterns, and design system implementation.
  • Assess existing codebases and determine what to reuse, refactor, or rebuild.
  • Establish frontend integration patterns with backend systems, including API and data contracts and data flow.
  • Ship the first end-to-end feature connected to live backend APIs in production.
  • Set engineering standards for code review, story breakdown, documentation, and development practices.
  • Lead and mentor frontend engineers and improve team output over time.
  • Manage development environments, deployments, and technical decisions independently.
  • Collaborate with product, backend, and cross-functional teams to support consistent delivery.

Requirements

  • Frontend-primary experience with React and Next.js, plus strong full-stack understanding.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in a lead or tech lead role.
  • Proven ability to drive technical direction and establish architectural foundations.
  • Experience establishing code review practices, engineering standards, and team processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers using a clear and structured approach.
  • Sufficient DevOps knowledge to manage personal environments, deployments, and infrastructure basics.
  • Comfort working without dedicated business analysis, QA, or DevOps support layers.
  • Experience integrating AI features, working with offshore teams, and evaluating or extending existing codebases is preferred.
  • SaaS or B2B platform experience is preferred; dental or healthcare experience is not required.
