Base Salary

$121k - $137k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requests, business processes, and requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Develop PeopleSoft HCM customizations, reports, interfaces, integrations, and bolt-on applications.
  • Design interfaces between internal and external systems and translate functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Troubleshoot operational application issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Perform coding, debugging, testing, maintenance, documentation, and deployment activities.
  • Follow change management processes to migrate changes to production and apply PeopleSoft Upgrade Manager images.
  • Support the Human Resources, Dean of the Faculty, and Finance and Treasurer offices.
  • Research and implement new functionality and technologies, including training and knowledge transfer for ERP colleagues.
  • Build relationships with business partners and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a PeopleSoft developer/analyst, including direct programming and business analysis with technical and non-technical staff.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, primarily HR, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Self Service.
  • In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft architecture, PeopleTools, Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, SQR, SQL, and PeopleSoft debugging and tracing.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, XML, and JavaScript, plus understanding of sound security principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, initiative, and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include higher-education experience, PeopleSoft Fluid, Work Centers, Activity Guides, Integration Broker, REST, SOAP, PeopleSoft Process Scheduler, IWS, AWE, Workday, Oracle, ServiceNow, and COBOL experience or familiarity.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and change management processes is preferred.
