Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain system-to-system integrations connecting enterprise applications.
- Architect and develop RESTful and SOAP APIs, event-driven integrations, and message-based workflows using WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Micro Integrator.
- Develop migration strategy from WSO2 to next-generation platforms such as Boomi or MuleSoft.
- Implement point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, and publish-subscribe integration patterns.
- Collaborate with application owners, data engineers, and infrastructure engineers on integration contracts, SLAs, and data exchange standards.
- Create and maintain API documentation, integration design specifications, and runbooks.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration pipelines for performance, reliability, and security.
- Enforce API security practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, mutual TLS, rate limiting, and threat protection policies.
- Participate in on-call production support and respond to integration incidents according to SLA requirements.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and DevOps practices for integration deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on REST API development experience using various integration patterns.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Boomi or MuleSoft integration platforms.
- Proficiency designing and consuming RESTful APIs, with working knowledge of SOAP, GraphQL, and AsyncAPI.
- Strong Python and/or Java programming skills for integration scripting and transformation logic.
- Proficiency with SQL for data querying and validation across integration workflows.
- Fluency in Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting for automation and deployment.
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, proxies, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and role-based access control.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure fundamentals on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to read and produce integration design documentation and API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Preferred: 7 or more years of REST API development and Boomi or MuleSoft integration platform experience.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager and/or WSO2 Micro Integrator, exposure to Apache Kafka or WSO2 Streaming Integrator, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Standard weekly hours are 36.25; the position is not eligible for overtime.
- The position has a 180-day probationary period.
- The posted full-time salary range is $114,000 to $126,000.
- The role includes an on-call production support rotation.
