Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, solution architects, technical leads, UX designers, and development operations engineers.
- Participate in requirements, design, coding, and testing across the software engineering lifecycle.
- Design and implement product features, reusable components, frameworks, web applications, libraries, and microservices.
- Design and support mission-critical, highly available cloud architectures, primarily using AWS.
- Present architectural diagrams and consult with stakeholders and customers on best practices and microservice approaches.
- Develop, deploy, and debug cloud-based applications while emphasizing quality, test-driven development, and sound engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus five years of progressive postbaccalaureate related experience, or a master’s degree or foreign equivalent plus three years of related experience.
- At least three years of experience, which may be gained concurrently, with programming languages such as Python, Node.js, C#, Java, or PL-SQL.
- At least three years of experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and related monitoring and logging tools.
- At least three years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, front-end UI frameworks, unit testing frameworks, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, design patterns, database patterns, and software development methodologies.
- Experience with frameworks and tools such as Angular, React, Knockout, Vue.js, Pytest, JUnit, or Nunit is required within the stated experience areas.
