Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution design for customer, agent, mobile app, and digital servicing platforms.
- Translate product and business requirements into scalable technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Define application, API, integration, and data flow designs across Guidewire and enterprise platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and implementation guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Conduct solution and design reviews covering business, security, performance, and operational requirements.
- Drive application modernization, platform simplification, and reusable solution patterns.
- Mentor engineers and support production stability, technical risk management, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product, Business, UX, Enterprise Architecture, and Engineering teams on API-first integration and cloud adoption.
Requirements
- 9+ years of total experience, including 7–9 years in enterprise-scale solution design and delivery.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Node.js, with 7+ years of experience in these technologies.
- Experience designing API-based integrations, microservices, and distributed applications.
- Experience defining integration and data flow designs across Guidewire and enterprise platforms is desirable.
- 1–3 years of exposure to mobile application development.
- Experience with Agile teams, SDLC, and CI/CD practices; SAFe or ART exposure is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, influence, and business-to-technology translation skills.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction across multiple teams.
- Fluent English and a bachelor’s degree are required.
- Insurance or financial services industry experience is preferred.
