Responsibilities
- Build systems and data structures for easier storefront iteration.
- Identify and eliminate manual bottlenecks in web changes.
- Enable rapid experimentation through A/B testing infrastructure.
- Analyze experiment results to inform product and business decisions.
- Own and evolve the Shopify storefront and related systems.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party services.
- Support international expansion through localization and operational changes.
- Work across backend and platform systems as priorities shift.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and operational maturity.
- Ensure safety and data privacy in all builds.
- Provide flexibility as the team balances growth and product work.
Requirements
- A systems-first mindset focused on building scalable solutions.
- Experience in building and optimizing consumer-facing web experiences.
- Familiarity with Shopify or a comparable e-commerce platform.
- Strong frontend skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend practices.
- Comfort with third-party API integrations.
- Ability to work across backend services and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and result interpretation.
- Strong product instincts and practical solution translation.
- A strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
