Base Salary
$190k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for money movement requests.
- Design next-generation Stripe products to meet growth needs.
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Review API launches for compatibility and quality standards.
- Act as the team's representative in technical meetings.
- Mentor early-career engineers to foster their development.
- Construct core engineering tenets and design principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Ruby, Java, and Typescript.
- Experience defining storage schemas for various databases.
- Proficient in querying data stores using SQL.
- Experience building service endpoints using GRPC, REST, or GraphQL.
- Experience with event processing technologies like SQS or Kafka.
