Responsibilities
- Resolve complex access, ServiceNow change, and production incidents as the senior technical escalation authority.
- Design and provision GCP infrastructure, permissions, service accounts, and IT access groups with least-privilege and audit-ready controls.
- Own observability strategy, alerting improvements, instrumentation architecture, and root-cause-preventive fixes.
- Govern access management and system-of-record information for critical applications and observability platforms.
- Own the SRE team backlog and lead PI planning, sprint planning, grooming, standups, dependency negotiation, and technical unblocking.
- Analyze incident and operational data, shape observability direction, launch cross-team initiatives, and deliver executive-level operational reporting.
- Evolve Operations policies and govern ServiceNow Assignment Group ownership across products.
Requirements
- Hands-on mastery of observability and instrumentation, including alerting strategy, signal-to-noise tuning, and durable incident-prevention improvements.
- Track record as a senior or second-level escalation point resolving complex and ambiguous production issues while mentoring others.
- Experience owning a technical team backlog, leading PI and sprint planning, running grooming and daily meetings, and unblocking engineers.
- Ability to analyze incident and operational data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to design, provision, and govern cloud infrastructure and access controls at enterprise scale with security and compliance rigor.
