Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build platform features in Go, including custom Kubernetes operators and controllers.
- Design GitOps workflows with ArgoCD for continuous deployment.
- Create Terraform and Helm infrastructure-as-code patterns to provision and manage clusters.
- Work on distributed storage with Ceph and WEKA.
- Develop Prometheus and Grafana observability and monitoring for cluster health and performance.
- Improve container networking with Cilium.
- Design federated Kubernetes architectures for multi-cluster management.
- Build automation that reduces operational work for developers running production workloads.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience, with around 5 years preferred.
- Hands-on experience writing Go for Kubernetes environments and managing production Kubernetes clusters at meaningful scale.
- Experience with distributed storage such as Ceph or WEKA and multi-cluster or federated Kubernetes architectures.
- Practical experience with GitOps and ArgoCD, plus infrastructure as code using Terraform, Helm, or comparable tools.
- Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana; open-source infrastructure contributions are a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure, container networking, and cloud platforms is valuable.
