Base Salary
$133k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve backend services for AI Fleet Management.
- Design scalable distributed systems for fleet-wide changes.
- Integrate AI capabilities into backend workflows.
- Develop services using Java, Python, and Node.js.
- Take ownership of services end-to-end, including operational support.
- Collaborate with product and design teams on platform capabilities.
- Contribute to engineering fundamentals like automated testing and reliability.
- Help evolve internal and external APIs and SDKs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in building backend services and distributed systems.
- Strong experience in Java and Python, comfortable in a polyglot environment.
- Experience designing and operating production systems with reliability in mind.
- Ability to take ownership of services from implementation to production support.
- Focus on developer experience and API usability.
- Practice continuous delivery and automated testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
