Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate SAP BusinessObjects Data Services integration jobs for structured and semi-structured data across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Build batch and near-real-time data pipelines, reusable data flows, workflows, transformations, and enterprise data models.
- Implement transformation, enrichment, standardization, harmonization, profiling, validation, matching, deduplication, and data governance processes.
- Develop agentic ETL capabilities that analyze metadata, recommend transformation and data quality rules, generate ETL scaffolding, and provide retrieval-grounded pipeline assistance.
- Create automated validation and AI evaluation strategies using schema checks, reconciliation, regression comparisons, golden datasets, accuracy checks, and drift detection.
- Optimize ETL performance and scalability and implement error handling, restartability, idempotency, recovery, monitoring, alerting, and incident-response processes.
- Support modernization of legacy ETL architectures and integration with cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
- Collaborate with data architects, analytics teams, and platform engineers on end-to-end data solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services and BODS ETL development and operations.
- Solid understanding of data integration patterns, transformation logic, enterprise data quality, data warehousing, and analytics fundamentals.
- Experience designing reliable, scalable, performant, and governed data pipelines.
- Capability with tool-augmented workflows, retrieval-grounded recommendations, evaluation loops, and safe automation boundaries for AI-native data engineering.
- Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, data governance frameworks, cloud data ecosystems, modern analytics tools, and scripting or automation for orchestration and operational tooling.
