Responsibilities
- Independently execute software design and development tasks.
- Develop, debug, test, integrate, and implement application software supporting warfighter missions.
- Develop REST API backends using ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core with C#.
- Develop applications using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions for operational software problems.
- Coordinate with development teams, clients, and stakeholders on requirements and implementation.
- Construct test cases and assist with software documentation.
- Mentor junior staff and comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.
- Learn new technical tools required for the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum five years of job-related experience.
- Minimum two years of experience developing REST API backends using ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core with C#.
- Minimum three years of experience developing in Microsoft ASP.NET with C#.
- Security+ CE certification is required within six months of hire.
- Desired experience includes Git, JavaScript or TypeScript, Vue.js, C#, T-SQL, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, MSTest, xUnit, NUnit, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Desired experience includes Agile team environments, Scrum, DevOps or DevSecOps development practices, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and Test Driven Development.
