Base Salary
$115k - $132k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze data-processing problems, user requirements, workflows, system capabilities, and scheduling limitations to improve computer systems.
- Create, develop, implement, and maintain application components, interfaces, and user information solutions.
- Design and develop internet/intranet user interfaces, select design methodologies and toolsets, and conduct testing.
- Integrate applications through database architecture, server scripting, and connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
- Recommend commercially available software compared with custom-development alternatives.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments and operating platforms.
- Provide user support through documentation and assistance tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
- At least six years of experience analyzing data-processing problems and user requirements and implementing or improving computer systems.
- Application software development and sustainment experience covering the full development life cycle, user-interface design, database integration, and multi-environment troubleshooting.
- Experience recommending commercially available software solutions and improving existing systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Java Applets, web programming, web user-interface design, software requirements, software development processes, object-oriented design, multimedia content development, and software debugging.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance before hire and current U.S. citizenship eligibility for the clearance.
- Relevant software development, Java, or cloud certifications are preferred.
