Responsibilities
- Define test strategies, plans, and end-to-end testing activities for enterprise applications.
- Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated tests and document test results and reports.
- Perform REST and SOAP API testing and configure and access databases.
- Test applications in enterprise, cloud, performance, and security-testing contexts.
- Lead and guide a small team of testers while collaborating in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 6 years of enterprise product testing experience.
- Hands-on experience writing and executing test plans and test strategies.
- Practical experience using JBehave for behavior-driven development testing.
- Experience designing and building automation frameworks and maintaining test scripts.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP API testing.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle database configuration and access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting test results and reports.
- Experience with Selenium or QTP, IIS or Tomcat, cloud testing, performance and security testing, and VMware virtual machines is preferred or advantageous.
- Ability to lead and guide a small team of testers.
