Base Salary
$254k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year technical strategy and end-to-end architecture for workforce, AI agent, service, and workload identity.
- Drive architecture decisions, standards, review bars, and integration contracts across multiple pods and teams without direct management authority.
- Develop adoption, sequencing, migration, and build-versus-buy strategies for more than 700 internal systems.
- Partner with Security, Compliance, IT, Infrastructure, and product engineering leadership to automate audit and regulatory controls.
- Lead data models and tooling that provide visibility into access, reduce standing privilege, and improve secure access workflows.
- Mentor staff and senior engineers and increase organizational expertise in identity engineering.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience and a track record as the most senior technical leader for multi-team platforms adopted across numerous consuming teams.
- Deep IAM expertise across multiple domains, including substantive experience with service or workload identity at scale.
- Production Go experience and distributed systems design experience on AWS.
- Fluency in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and workload identity patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and secure leadership alignment across teams and organizations without direct authority.
- Ability to translate audit and regulatory requirements into automated technical controls and communicate complex identity issues to executive audiences.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
