Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and customize BMC Helix ITSM and ITAM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, CMDB, Asset Management, and Discovery.
- Develop and modify forms, workflows, business rules, data models, UI components, custom applications, and automation within BMC Helix Innovation Studio and BMC Helix AR System.
- Design agentic AI use cases, prompts, and API integrations leveraging the Helix GPT module.
- Build CMDB data models, reconciliation rules, normalization processes, and asset lifecycle workflows.
- Develop Python scripts, utilities, integration services, and automation for ITSM and ITAM processes.
- Create APIs, data exchange procedures, connectors, transformation mappings, and integration logic for external platforms.
- Participate in use-case development and provide customer demonstrations.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in ITSM/ITAM development and administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with BMC Helix, including Remedy, Innovation Studio, Smart IT, and Digital Workplace.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, workflow logic, integrations, and data manipulation.
- Strong experience with workflow design, form updates, UI customization, and configuration management.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks and practical enterprise implementation experience.
- Experience with API integrations, scripting, data transformation, and system integration architecture.
- Knowledge of emerging agentic AI models, frameworks, and toolkits.
- Knowledge of asset inventory, software licensing, and asset management policies.
- Experience with Flexera and ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus is highly desirable.
- ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud technologies and services.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to multitask and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
