Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable full-stack code for critical enterprise application features.
- Participate in system and solution design, technical trade-off discussions, implementation planning, and pseudocode development.
- Build and integrate web applications, APIs, service integrations, cloud-native services, and AI-powered application capabilities.
- Implement LLM application patterns including prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, grounding, structured outputs, tool or function calling, and quality and safety guardrails.
- Improve code quality through reviews, engineering standards, automated testing, secure development, and reusable components.
- Support build pipelines, CI/CD workflows, release readiness, automated testing, observability, and other DevOps practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application, system, and AI feature performance, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Document technical designs, implementation decisions, and operational considerations.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for implementation issues and resolve production and delivery challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical proposals, estimations, reusable assets, automation, refactoring, and capability improvement.
- Collaborate with architects, TPMs, product managers, QA, DevOps, platform teams, designers, and client-facing delivery teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise-grade full-stack applications and owning complex engineering workstreams from design through delivery.
- Strong expertise in a modern front-end framework such as React, with solid JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.
- Strong back-end engineering experience with Python and a framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Understanding of system design, design patterns, API design, scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and distributed application architecture.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating services and external systems.
- Knowledge of responsive web design, reusable component architecture, accessibility basics, and front-end performance optimization.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Jest, PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including deployment, configuration, observability, and cloud-native support.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent container platforms.
- Understanding of DevOps and secure SDLC practices, including CI/CD, source control, code reviews, build automation, and release controls.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs and building AI features involving prompt design, structured outputs, tool or function calling, RAG, vector search, grounding, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional and client-facing delivery environments.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
- Preferred: Agile delivery experience, production performance tuning and observability, reusable frameworks or shared components, technical proposals or workshops, AI tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel, vector databases, model gateways, LLMOps/MLOps, copilots, agentic workflows, recommendation systems, or domain-specific GenAI solutions.
