Responsibilities
- Lead multiple customer projects to deploy NCR Voyix Edge.
- Advise customers and internal teams on the Edge product architecture, implementation, and operation.
- Assist with integrating and deploying the Edge solution and customer applications remotely and on-site.
- Create and maintain project plans and team task lists.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide pragmatic technical solutions.
- Build and maintain lab and proof-of-concept environments to support sales opportunities.
- Work with Edge Engineering to identify defects and product improvements.
- Provide technical support to the Sales Engineering team during product architecture discussions and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Maintain current knowledge of NCR Voyix products, technologies, and competitors.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support when required by assigned projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience serving as a technical lead for complex technology implementations.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying containerized workloads and microservice architectures using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with one or more major cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with application development lifecycle practices covering source code management, application build, testing, and deployment.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm Charts.
- Experience with scripting or configuration-as-code using Python, Ansible, Groovy, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Ability to develop clear, pragmatic solutions and recommendations for complex business problems.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent technical communication skills, including explaining complex issues to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take on varied technical challenges.
