Responsibilities
- Design enterprise integration solutions and estimate implementation costs for integration projects.
- Support API-led architecture and reusable API design across application landscapes.
- Participate in integration strategy for new and existing applications moving to cloud platforms or new applications.
- Review and approve project integration technical architectures.
- Support monitoring strategies and continuous improvement for integration platforms.
- Plan and implement platform upgrades and migrations in alignment with the technology roadmap.
- Provide requirements, solution design, technical oversight, and integration subject-matter expertise.
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, technical approaches, invoicing schedules, risk plans, and supporting documentation.
- Provide technical and administrative direction to onshore, offshore, and external resources.
- Communicate architecture activities, trade-offs, dependencies, risks, and technical approaches to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a similar technology-related discipline.
- At least 8 years of IT experience.
- At least 3 years of experience architecting API-based integration solutions.
- At least 5 years of development experience on integration platforms.
- Deep experience in integration and API architecture, including industry trends, vendors, frameworks, and practices.
- Experience providing technical leadership to developer team members.
- Experience architecting and implementing integrations using APIs, web services, SFTP, and EDI.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, including APIM, Logic Apps, ESB, AppInsights, and Observability.
- Understanding of cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and iPaaS.
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts including networking, VPC, VPN, and load balancers.
- Understanding of identity management, authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Experience with RAML or OAS (Swagger).
- Strong interpersonal, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Understanding of Agile delivery principles, quality software engineering practices, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Preferred experience with MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platforms.
- Preferred integration architecture certifications.
