Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, test, debug, maintain, and optimize Power Automate workflows, RPA bots, Power Apps, Power Pages solutions, and Copilot Studio assistants.
- Translate business processes and stakeholder requirements into scalable automation, application, web, and AI solutions.
- Develop APIs, custom connectors, integrations, monitoring mechanisms, and analytics solutions for enterprise systems and data sources.
- Conduct feasibility studies, user acceptance testing, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Manage development work through requirements, Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, and the organization’s ALM tool.
- Produce solution documentation, workflow diagrams, test artifacts, training materials, knowledge base articles, manuals, and best-practice guides.
- Provide technical guidance, stakeholder communication, end-user training, and adoption support for Power Platform solutions.
- Provide occasional planned non-core-hours and weekend support for updates that may interrupt business operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5–7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust, requiring U.S. citizenship.
- Demonstrated experience with Power Automate Desktop, cloud flows, Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
- Experience developing RPA solutions, AI-powered assistants and chatbots, APIs, custom connectors, and enterprise system integrations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and other enterprise data sources.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development and ALM tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Understanding of security, data privacy, compliance, governance, and performance standards.
- Experience creating technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Power Platform and Azure AI certifications, Power BI experience, responsive web design and WCAG 2.1 familiarity, citizen developer program support, government or regulated-enterprise experience, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Liquid, Azure AI Services, and LLM integrations.
