Base Salary
$190k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, maintenance, deployment, and monitoring of customer-facing interactive web applications.
- Drive frontend technical vision and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with API, Platform, Product, QA, and UI/UX teams to ensure effective application integration and functionality.
- Mentor and guide other engineers while promoting engineering best practices and continuous learning.
- Maintain application quality, performance, scalability, observability, security, and user experience.
- Ensure web application development complies with FDA regulations and medical software quality and documentation requirements.
- Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as Vue.js, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
- Experience driving technical vision, leading architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers.
- Successful collaboration with product management and design teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of web security best practices.
- Experience with DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with or willingness to learn FDA regulations and compliance requirements for medical software.
- Preferred: hands-on Vue.js ecosystem experience, AWS proficiency, regulated-industry experience, and familiarity with medical imaging products or healthcare technologies.
