Responsibilities
- Build automation using software development, automated testing, unit testing, and code coverage practices.
- Create reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to improve system and process efficiency.
- Partner with security teams and tools to understand emerging threats and address vulnerabilities.
- Partner with application management teams to assess the impact of vulnerability remediation and execute resolutions.
- Improve operational excellence by reducing risk, complexity, waste, and cost.
- Provide 24x7x365 availability when needed for production-impacting incidents or key customer events.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with common web technologies such as C#, .NET, Java, or another equivalent object-oriented language.
- 8+ years of experience implementing cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure, with understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
- Experience building high-performance, scalable, robust, 24x7 environments and/or applications.
- Experience creating cloud-orchestration scripts or automation using Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby, or similar technologies; PowerShell is preferred.
- Ability to create quality code that is secure and operable at scale.
