Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify and execute expansion opportunities within existing public sector accounts.
- Present Snowflake’s technology, roadmap, and business value to executive, technical, and practitioner audiences.
- Design and validate solutions across analytics, data sharing, data engineering, AI/ML, and data applications from ideation through production rollout.
- Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews focused on adoption, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Build and deliver public sector demonstrations, technical workshops, proof-of-value engagements, and reference architectures.
- Advise customers on governance, security, performance optimization, data sharing, marketplace capabilities, AI/ML integrations, and long-term data strategy.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to provide public sector feedback, influence the roadmap, and create reusable enablement assets.
- Support RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, compliance reviews, government standards alignment, and procurement requirements.
- Advocate for Snowflake cost management and FinOps practices.
- Mentor peers and contribute to SE and public sector field enablement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in customer-facing solution engineering or pre-sales, ideally involving data, analytics, or cloud platforms.
- Demonstrated success driving expansion or upsell within enterprise or public sector accounts.
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, analytics, data science, AI/ML, generative AI, and data applications.
- Hands-on SQL expertise and experience with Python, Spark, or similar data-processing technologies.
- Solid understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and related data services.
- Knowledge of security, governance, identity and access management, encryption, data residency, auditing, and public sector compliance.
- Experience with Singapore or ASEAN public sector customers or other regulated environments, including government procurement and regulatory expectations.
- Understanding of Singapore Government Commercial Cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and data classification levels.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and value-based selling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Teradata, Netezza, Exadata, Greenplum, Hadoop, cloud data migrations, Java, Scala, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, OLAP data models, enterprise data architectures, Snowflake, cloud-native AI services, ecosystem partners, public sector programs, cloud certifications, or data and analytics certifications.
- Preferred experience designing or operating production-scale Snowflake or comparable cloud-native data platforms, data sharing or marketplaces, Singapore and ASEAN public sector frameworks, complex multi-stakeholder programs, and enterprise SaaS business models.
