Responsibilities
- Participate in customer project kick-offs and design WMS/WES/WCS process flowcharts and specifications.
- Create simulation scenarios for throughput and material-flow validation.
- Translate solution designs into development specifications, tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead technical collaboration with software developers across EMEA, APAC, and North America.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests and validate that solutions meet requirements.
- Deliver customer training and system handovers.
- Provide hands-on technical escalation support during go-live and resolve critical on-site issues.
- Support implementation improvements, lessons-learned sessions, project quality, schedule, budget, and agile sprint execution.
- Provide senior technical expertise during sales phases for large-scale and complex projects.
- Act as the technical liaison between WMS/WES/WCS teams and regional intralogistics experts.
Requirements
- University or bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems, software, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in solution design, technical architecture, or senior consulting, ideally in logistics or industrial automation.
- Experience with software architecture, frontend and backend frameworks, cloud computing structures, developer collaboration, automation technology, robotics, and software architecture.
- Basic knowledge of C# full-stack development, .NET, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, GitLab or GitHub, Jira, frontend UI/HMI, and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of SAP interfaces, OPC UA, REST, TCP/IP, MQTT, Modbus, JSON, HTML, and XML.
- Familiarity with WMS, ERP systems, PLC, SCADA, and intralogistics processes.
- Fluent written and spoken English, strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer focus, autonomy, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to travel at least 20% for EMEA-wide projects.
