Responsibilities
- Lead technical implementation and delivery of Analytics, AI, and GenAI solutions across multiple projects.
- Design and develop GenAI applications using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and related Azure services.
- Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions, agent-based workflows, prompt orchestration frameworks, and AI-enabled business applications.
- Build scalable APIs, services, integrations, containerized applications, and cloud-native solutions supporting AI capabilities.
- Implement application security, observability, monitoring, testing, production readiness, deployment planning, operational handoff, and incident-resolution capabilities.
- Translate architecture and functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Partner with architects and product leaders to align solutions with enterprise architecture and platform standards.
- Establish development, coding, testing, deployment, and DevOps standards; conduct code reviews and technical quality assessments.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and reliability requirements.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, reusable platform capabilities, frameworks, components, development patterns, and accelerators.
- Guide and mentor engineers on architecture, coding practices, cloud technologies, GenAI development, and troubleshooting.
- Support onboarding, engineer development, technical interviews, and candidate evaluations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, analytics, AI, data engineering, or application development.
- 3+ years leading technical delivery teams or serving as a technical lead on enterprise projects delivering cloud-native applications and services.
- Hands-on Azure experience and experience delivering enterprise Analytics, AI, or GenAI solutions into production.
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Container Apps, Azure AI Foundry, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, API Management, or similar Azure components.
- Experience delivering production GenAI solutions using prompt and RAG patterns, responsible AI controls and guardrails, AI orchestration, AI/ML model lifecycle management, and secure AI integration.
- Strong Python development skills and experience building REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience building containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with front-end application development and modern application frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, test automation, monitoring and observability, production support, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, cross-functional teams, and global onshore/offshore delivery models.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder-management, and technical leadership skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
