Responsibilities
- Build and enhance full stack enterprise applications spanning front-end UI, back-end services, APIs, and data layers.
- Architect and develop event-based, distributed, highly available web application platforms at global enterprise scale.
- Develop back-end services using Java, Spring frameworks, JPA, Hibernate, REST, and SOAP, and front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Add performance and software quality metrics, improve existing features, and identify process bottlenecks through instrumentation and analysis.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept using generative AI and AI-assisted coding tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
- Use AI-powered tools for code generation, code review, test-case generation, debugging, documentation, and refactoring.
- Integrate AI/ML-driven capabilities such as intelligent automation, recommendation logic, and natural-language interfaces where applicable.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, technical leads, vendors, and cross-functional organizations on scope, deliverables, resources, and project execution.
- Mentor and lead geographically distributed teams while contributing to critical, high-profile projects and communicating with varied audiences.
Requirements
- Experience architecting and developing event-based, distributed, highly available systems; 5+ years is preferred.
- Experience developing and managing enterprise-level technology at global scale; 5+ years is preferred.
- Full stack development experience across front-end UI/UX, back-end services, APIs, and data layers.
- Knowledge of application security, including OWASP Top 10 risks and mitigations.
- Experience with microservices, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, including LLM-based code assistants and debugging or refactoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms and managed services.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience developing client-facing web applications and owning both UI and services layers.
- Experience with ReactJS, VueJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and single-page applications.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, distributed caching, and large distributed datasets.
- Experience building e-commerce applications.
- Practical experience applying AI/ML in software development, including generative AI, prompt engineering, LLM-based services or APIs, and intelligent automation.
- Experience with software development, solution architecture, product management, and real-world systems deployment.
- Understanding of microservice architecture and SAP Cloud Foundry capabilities.
- Experience with source control, build and deployment tools, and automated testing methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, interpersonal, presentation, written communication, documentation, and design-review skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred.
