Responsibilities
- Refine and execute GoFundMe's multi-year payments strategy.
- Design and implement the end-to-end product lifecycle for payout solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, and external partners on payments infrastructure.
- Own critical technical decisions related to ledgering and money movement.
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
- Lead projects from conception to completion, balancing technical and business needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in payment systems and impactful feature development.
- Expertise in architecting services and systems for scalability.
- Strong project leadership skills with a focus on timely delivery.
- Experience in diagnosing and preventing performance problems.
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
