Responsibilities

Design and build control-plane services for tenant management, quotas, metering, billing, ticketing, RBAC, permissions, customer portals, and APIs.
Architect global and regional control-plane boundaries and cross-region consistency for tenant, quota, and billing systems.
Build self-service onboarding and automation to eliminate manual delivery steps.
Ensure billing and metering correctness and auditability.
Develop operational tooling for detection, isolation, recovery, and improved platform stability.
Develop region-aware scheduling and placement in partnership with the Compute team.

At least 3 years of experience building backend services, control planes, or web platforms; senior candidates should have 6 or more years.
Strong backend engineering skills in Go, Java, or Python, along with API design and distributed systems experience.
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS or cloud control planes; billing and quota systems experience is a strong plus.
React or Vue experience for full-stack contributors in a subset of the hiring cohort.
Knowledge of RBAC, authentication, OAuth, OIDC, and audit systems.
Multi-region and distributed-consistency experience is a plus.
