Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-scale distributed systems capable of handling massive loyalty-program throughput.
- Write clean, performant code and participate in daily hands-on development.
- Architect resilient services that scale to support millions of active customers.
- Lead technical alignment with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders on complex trade-offs and objectives.
- Own complex features from initial architecture through long-term maintenance.
- Mentor and develop engineers while establishing best practices across product features.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining high-scale, high-throughput backend services in production.
- Proven technical ownership of complex features from architecture through long-term maintenance.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners.
- Experience developing robust systems within large engineering organizations.
- Prior loyalty or rewards-product experience is preferred.
- Experience with financial technology or distributed ledger concepts is preferred.
- Experience managing features spanning multiple business domains is preferred.
