Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure, shared tooling, frameworks, and reusable engineering capabilities.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and related technologies.
- Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms using AKS and EKS for containerized applications and engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve release automation and deployment reliability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and other observability solutions.
- Drive improvements in scalability, reliability, security, operational efficiency, developer productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with security, product DevOps, Operations, and other teams on platform adoption, operational readiness, and infrastructure hardening.
- Create technical documentation and operational runbooks and participate in design reviews.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and lead tooling, framework, and automation initiatives across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of Linux administration experience in hybrid environments.
- Advanced expertise with AWS and/or Azure.
- Expert experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- 3+ years of Terraform module development experience.
- 3+ years of Docker and Kubernetes experience in production.
- Strong incident response and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with mentoring and technical leadership.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
