Base Salary
$200k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Android application end to end, including architecture, implementation, and Google Play release.
- Build a polished, high-performance consumer client that pairs with proprietary hardware and handles high volumes of data.
- Develop core app surfaces including onboarding, capture, tasks, earnings, and notifications.
- Set Android architecture, coding standards, and code review practices for future engineers.
- Instrument the app for analytics, experimentation, and crash-free releases.
- Collaborate with iOS, hardware integration, and backend engineers to ship complete features.
- Drive rapid, high-quality Google Play release cycles, including staged rollouts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping consumer Android applications at scale.
- Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Deep experience with CameraX or Camera2, media pipelines, and offline-first synchronization.
- Experience serving as the lead or senior-most engineer on a mobile platform.
- Strong product sense and performance discipline across a fragmented device matrix.
- Ability to own a platform end to end on a small, fast-moving team.
