Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test Java-based solutions using established standards and frameworks.
- Integrate frontend user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Translate software requirements into maintainable, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Implement security, data protection, authentication, and authorization across systems and environments.
- Design data storage solutions and database schemas supporting business processes.
- Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to complete objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computing, Business, or equivalent qualification or experience.
- At least five years of software development experience using Java.
- Working knowledge of Java Spring Boot and backend technologies including PHP, Java, SQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Debian 12, OpenJDK, and PostgreSQL in Java-based environments.
- Proficiency with continuous integration and code versioning tools such as GitLab and GitHub.
- Knowledge of OWASP security principles.
- Experience using project management tools such as JIRA.
