Responsibilities
- Contribute significantly to critical projects that deliver value to customers.
- Mentor team members and uphold software development best practices.
- Advise on technical approaches that promote engineering excellence.
- Architect scalable web APIs and backend systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges.
- Advise on technical debt consolidation to meet business needs.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Conduct technical interviews to attract high-performing candidates.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building high-performance web applications.
- Knowledge of full-stack technologies including React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and AWS.
- Experience in asset management and creation, and/or Generative AI is a plus.
- Extensive experience writing unit and end-to-end tests.
- Experience collaborating with Product & Design on product experiences.
- Experience with relational databases and key-value stores.
- Ability to analyze and optimize web application performance.
- A knack for simplifying complex problems.
