Base Salary
$266k - $445k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal tools and services to reduce friction for engineering teams.
- Own and evolve CI/CD infrastructure to enhance scalability.
- Create reusable patterns and templates for software delivery.
- Develop release engineering tooling for better code shipping confidence.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in developer workflows.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for software and image delivery.
- Shape the operations and processes of the Platform Engineering team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and maintain system documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or related fields.
- Proficient in writing production-quality software, preferably in Go or Python.
- Deep experience with CI/CD systems like Buildkite or GitHub Actions.
- Strong foundation in infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to automate workflows in the software delivery lifecycle.
- Outcome-driven with a focus on measuring impact.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and problem definition.
