Base Salary

$170k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Solve challenging problems involved in providing interactive data warehouse exploration and analysis
  • Build backend distributed services, algorithms, and modern APIs for a cloud application
  • Design and implement software features for Sigma’s growing user base
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of industry experience building and maintaining high-quality software
  • Experience building and deploying robust, secure web applications in a continuous deployment environment
  • Strong computer science fundamentals
  • Experience with data modeling and API development is preferred
  • Experience with SQL query optimization and database internals is preferred
  • Experience administering cloud service infrastructure on GCP, AWS, or Azure is preferred
  • Prior experience at a high-growth company solving technical problems is preferred
  • Strong ownership, craftsmanship, teamwork, and problem-solving orientation
