Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global and local SAP applications, including ABAP programs, reports, workflows, forms, and backend OData services.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP systems, external applications, and external partners.
- Create technical specifications and software documentation according to Magna IT standards.
- Manage daily change requests, define technical solutions, and provide professional technical consulting.
- Support and resolve issues in Application Management Support areas and provide global application support.
- Contribute to projects and coordinate with functional and development resources.
- Work with SAP business processes including SD, MM, EWM, FI, PP, and PS.
- Track time and plan travel in accordance with Magna policies and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- 14 to 16+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Experience with ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA, Workflows, ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, SAP Fiori, and UI5.
- Knowledge of Web Dynpro and FPM is an advantage.
- Profound English language skills are required; German language skills are advantageous.
- Analytical, flexible, independent, methodical, technically enthusiastic, and goal-oriented approach.
- Strong teamwork, customer orientation, communication, initiative, creativity, diligence, accuracy, and willingness to acquire new skills.
