Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and integration of solutions across a portfolio of federal civilian and health programs.
  • Develop reusable reference architectures, solution patterns, technology roadmaps, modernization strategies, and solution frameworks.
  • Engage federal customers and stakeholders to understand mission priorities, challenges, and future requirements.
  • Support business development, capture, proposal, strategic planning, and technical solution development activities.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions spanning digital services, application modernization, data and AI, cloud, interoperability, automation, identity, Zero Trust, and health IT.
  • Conduct technology trade studies, risk assessments, architecture reviews, and solution validation activities.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, implementation plans, technical roadmaps, integration strategies, technical volumes, executive summaries, and solution narratives.
  • Define technical discriminators, win themes, and value propositions aligned with customer evaluation criteria.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, engineers, and project teams.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives while promoting reusable standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Solution Architect leading solutions for federal government opportunities and proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise- or portfolio-level technical solutions for federal customers.
  • Strong understanding of federal IT environments, compliance requirements, and acquisition processes.
  • Experience supporting capture, proposal, and business development activities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
  • Preferred experience with federal civilian and health modernization solutions, reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and reusable solution patterns.
  • Preferred experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, cloud-native and hybrid-cloud architectures, data platforms and analytics, application modernization, digital services, cybersecurity, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, data/API interoperability, automation, and secure enterprise integration.
  • Preferred knowledge of NIST, RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and Section 508.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Solutions Architect, CISSP, TOGAF, or PMP are preferred.
  • An active U.S. Security clearance at the Secret level or above is preferred.
