Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, integration, and technical governance of solutions across a Defense and Intelligence portfolio.
  • Develop reusable reference architectures, solution patterns, technology roadmaps, modernization strategies, and integration plans.
  • Engage customers, program leaders, capture teams, and stakeholders to shape mission-aligned technical solutions and growth opportunities.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions spanning mission systems, applications, infrastructure, cloud and edge computing, cybersecurity, networks, data, AI/ML, and digital engineering.
  • Conduct architecture assessments, technology trade studies, technical risk assessments, and solution optimization activities.
  • Lead technical solution development for federal proposals, including technical volumes, solution narratives, staffing approaches, transition strategies, and oral presentations.
  • Define technical discriminators, win themes, and value propositions aligned with customer evaluation criteria.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to solution architects, engineers, and project teams and lead architecture reviews and technical workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Solution Architect leading solutions for federal government opportunities and proposals.
  • Experience designing, building, integrating, and testing complex systems and validating end-to-end performance, interoperability, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Defense and Intelligence mission environments, federal acquisition processes, cybersecurity, and technical compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting capture, proposal, and business development activities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Active U.S. Secret Security clearance required.
  • Preferred experience includes Defense and Intelligence mission solutions, secure or classified environments, mission systems, C2, multi-domain operations, resilient enterprise architectures, AI/ML, Generative AI, data platforms and analytics, cloud and edge computing, digital engineering/MBSE, advanced networking, application modernization, cybersecurity, Zero Trust, DevSecOps, cross-domain solutions, identity and access management, and secure-by-design architectures.
  • Preferred knowledge includes DoDAF, NIST, RMF, CMMC, and related DoD/IC security and compliance frameworks.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, INCOSE CSEP, TOGAF, or PMP; active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
