Base Salary

$119k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the dedicated technical advisor to named Department of Defense accounts and partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead technical discovery covering customer missions, environments, modernization priorities, programs, and technical challenges.
  • Architect cloud solutions for programs of record, modernization initiatives, migrations, and new mission workloads.
  • Design and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and proofs of concept.
  • Lead technical contributions to RFIs, RFPs, formal evaluations, and complex government procurements.
  • Translate mission and program requirements into reference architectures, migration strategies, and technical roadmaps.
  • Remain engaged after award to support deployment, adoption, consumption, and expansion.
  • Build relationships with engineers, architects, program offices, and senior technical stakeholders.
  • Represent customer requirements internally with product management, engineering, specialists, and partners.
  • Help customers adopt secure AI, generative AI, cloud-based AI infrastructure, and GPU-enabled workloads.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in solution engineering, technical presales, cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; OCI is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture across compute, storage, networking, databases, identity and access management, containers/Kubernetes, and observability.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical architectures and solutions.
  • Experience building and sustaining technical relationships within large government, defense, or enterprise accounts.
  • Experience supporting technical evaluations, solution demonstrations, proofs of concept, or formal RFI/RFP procurement processes.
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, and whiteboarding skills for technical and senior-stakeholder audiences.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Preferred experience includes OCI, Department of Defense or federal cloud environments, an active Secret clearance or higher, DISA SRG Impact Levels IL4-IL6, FedRAMP High, NIST SP 800-53, ATO processes, cloud AI or GPU infrastructure, cloud migrations, application modernization, data platforms, DoD acquisition processes, and OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
