Base Salary

$152k - $221k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Provide Google Cloud expertise through technology advocacy, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and product management collaboration.
  • Demonstrate Google Cloud products and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for Google Cloud solutions.
  • Lead prospecting and acquisition of net-new customers and build trusted-advisor relationships around long-term technology and business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience designing cloud-native, enterprise-grade technical architecture in customer-facing or support roles.
  • Experience designing, managing, and operating high-performance computing systems, including MPI workloads, low-latency networking, and parallel file systems.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Preferred experience with federal scientific and research-focused agencies such as NOAA, NIST, and the Department of Energy.
  • Preferred experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms and deploying custom AI applications or supporting agentic AI use cases.
  • Preferred knowledge of software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers, and firewalls.
