Responsibilities
- Drive technology strategy, innovation, roadmap development, and integration of emerging capabilities into current programs and new offerings.
- Lead solutions strategy for major proposals and on-contract growth initiatives, identifying technology-led opportunities to expand client engagements.
- Build and deploy an operating-group solution architecture team and maintain a cadre of billable technical subject-matter experts.
- Translate group-specific technical gaps into enterprise requirements and advocate for funding, infrastructure, and capability investments.
- Participate in Investment Review Board processes, prioritizing technical roadmaps, resource allocation, and high-value investment areas.
- Represent technical capabilities to customers and partner with business development, proposals, solution architecture, and operating-group leadership.
- Oversee deployment of enterprise technology strategy at the group level and maintain alignment between local and enterprise roadmaps.
- Engage customers proactively to understand mission needs, operational realities, and modernization priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience with 12 years of relevant experience in a senior technical role involving hands-on technology development, strategic technology insertion, and operational execution in a demanding federal government environment.
- Five years of experience engaging with commercial partners such as hyperscalers and commercial technology providers.
- Proven success leading technical strategies for major proposals and on-contract growth initiatives.
- Experience researching and advocating for technical needs, assessing market trends, influencing enterprise investment strategies, and affecting company decision-making.
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills across diverse organizational levels, particularly with business development and solution architecture teams.
- Ability to work as a player/coach and personally deliver results in a time-critical, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency overseeing technology lifecycles from pilot stages through full deployment.
- Secret Clearance required.
