Base Salary
$175k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customer teams and executives to identify and scope high-value AI opportunities.
- Map business processes, connect systems, and structure data so agents operate reliably in customer environments.
- Build, test, deploy, and iterate on Gumloop agents, measuring success through adoption and business impact.
- Partner with Customer Success and Education to enable customers to take ownership and expand usage.
- Convert deployment learnings into reusable patterns and feedback for Product and Engineering.
- Travel to customer sites as needed, up to about 30%, and operate effectively through ambiguity.
Requirements
- 4+ years of technical experience with a track record of shipping useful agents or connected systems beyond prototypes.
- Technical foundation in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience deploying or implementing software in enterprise environments, including process mapping and working with customer data.
- Working familiarity with JSON, JavaScript, Git, MCPs, and data-structure discussions sufficient to build and debug in the field.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including frontline users and executives.
- Strong judgment under ambiguity and a hands-on approach to selecting and solving important problems.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for onsite customer work.
- Experience in consulting, professional services, or implementation at a high-growth company is a bonus.
- Prior Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or deployment-engineering experience is a bonus.
- Familiarity with agent tooling, MCP servers, and production LLM workflows is a bonus.
