Responsibilities
- Plan, control, and execute manual UI, workflow, system, and geometric algorithm testing for medical software.
- Develop test strategies across the software lifecycle at the module, subsystem, and system levels.
- Create and execute test protocols and manage, generate, and validate test data using CAD tools.
- Perform verification and validation activities, including geometric property and shape verification.
- Document test results and defects with clear, actionable reports while maintaining requirements-to-test traceability.
- Contribute to test automation and participate in development-team routines and collaboration with product owners.
- Communicate testing results, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
- Experience with audit-compliant test documentation and traceability.
- German and English proficiency.
- Ability to handle conflict and demonstrate assertiveness.
- Experience in regulated environments is preferred, particularly medical device software governed by IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and FDA software validation.
- Experience with requirements or test-management tools such as Jama is preferred.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright is desirable.
- ISTQB certification, experience with agile methods and continuous software delivery, and experience in new product development and verification and validation are desirable.
