Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and debug the StockX Android app using Android Studio.
- Build GraphQL APIs that interact with backend services and REST APIs.
- Utilize Clean Architecture with MVVM and best practices.
- Leverage Jetpack Compose to create modern, scalable UIs.
- Stay updated with technology changes related to Android development.
- Work on initiatives from start to finish, including A/B testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose solutions.
- Propose and adopt best engineering practices and guide development standards.
- Foster a growth mindset culture and contribute to team processes.
- Communicate timely with stakeholders and users to resolve issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Android development experience.
- Good understanding of the Android platform and common conventions.
- Experience with Kotlin, Android Studio, and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to document features, additions, and bug fixes clearly.
- Ability to explain complex technical terms to non-technical users.
- Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Experience working on cross-functional product teams preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
