Responsibilities
- Translate product and business needs into applied ML/NLP solutions.
- Develop and optimize retrieval, search, and ranking algorithms.
- Fine-tune SLMs/LLMs for high-accuracy, low-latency tasks.
- Apply advanced alignment and reliability techniques to improve user experience.
- Experiment with summarization and synthesis methods for unstructured data.
- Contribute to product decisions, direction, and prioritization.
- Shape the engineering culture.
Requirements
- Based in NYC.
- Experienced NLP/ML researcher with knowledge of RAG, LLMs, and Generative AI pipelines.
- Proven experience building production ML systems, including search and information retrieval.
- Strong communication skills for a client-facing role.
- Ability to explain AI/ML problems to a non-technical audience.
- Strong bias to action and experience working with senior stakeholders.
- Excited to build a team.
