Base Salary
$151k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new features for The Trade Desk’s real-time bidding software.
- Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software.
- Drive complex changes involving multiple components across bidding infrastructure.
- Deliver quality changes, including automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
- Validate changes in the bidding software as part of a regular release process.
- Participate in the interview hiring process by conducting technical interviews.
- Collaborate in code review and design review of fellow software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Working knowledge of soft real-time distributed systems.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, C, C++.
- Experience with software development code editors and version control systems.
- Ability to work in large scale code bases with ambiguous goals.
- Understanding of operating systems fundamentals and memory optimization.
- Experience using SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, or similar RDBMS.
