Base Salary

$151k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and improve the quality of real-time bidding software.
  • Design, build, deliver, and own software through the full lifecycle from inception to production.
  • Drive complex changes involving multiple components across the bidding infrastructure.
  • Deliver quality changes with automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
  • Validate bidding software changes as part of the regular release process.
  • Learn and apply system architecture fundamentals through self-directed learning.
  • Participate in hiring by conducting selected technical interview questions and sharing results with the hiring manager.
  • Collaborate on fellow engineers’ code reviews and design reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of soft real-time distributed systems and operating systems fundamentals.
  • Experience with one or more of C#, Java, C, or C++.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or Rider and version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
  • Experience working in large-scale codebases with ambiguous goals and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience profiling and analyzing memory dumps to optimize latency-sensitive systems.
  • Experience using SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, or a similar relational database management system in a performance-sensitive context.
